Web Site Accessibility

We have endeavoured to make the Haycock web site universally accessible. Almost all the pages in the web site contain valid XHTML markup - you can check this for yourself by clicking on the "Valid XHTML" link in the lower right hand corner. This will send the page content to the World Wide Web Consortium Validator and display the results. The few pages which are not valid markup are likely to be forms and we are working to make these pages compliant too.

Every page in the web site is compliant with the Level 1 Accessibility guidelines, most pages conform to Level 2 and many conform to Level 3. Due to the dynamic nature of the web site, some pages may become non-conformant - if you draw our attention to these pages we will make every effort to make them as accessible as the others.

We have provided a "text only" facility (use the "Text Only" link in the bottom right hand corner) which will render the page in a high visibility colour scheme, with minimal styling, in a format which is compatible with text only browsers such as Lynx.
